I expected the room to be in the hotel but it was in a newly built annex, which I liked, with the convenience of meals in the pub. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have used in a hotel and the views from the outdoor seating area were beautiful.
Whenever we opened our window, as we were overlooking an unfinished bit of building land, we were inundated with flies but once the plot is finished that should be cured.

Had 2 days in Masham, spending my time here lovely. All the staff was hard-working, tackled my issues. The room was well-equipped and a nice size and come with coffee and tea making facilities, and under-floor heating.

We enjoyed the room and its facilities and the very pleasant staff.
It lacked what we would regard as comfortable lounge facilities.

The room was modern, clean and well equiped. The pub was in a good location for exploring the Countryside/Yorkshire Dales.
The view was spoilt by a Caravan site which is situated directly to the rear of the pub. We were dissapointed to note this had not been mentioned on the website or brochures. At night time the beer garden was over run by children from the site. Finding a parking space was also a problem.

Consider requesting a quieter room away from the pub's entrance to enhance your relaxing stay.

Room was a high standard of accomodation.
There was a caravan site at the back, which although caused us no problem, it might be an issue for others on another occasion.

Excellent, modern and clean hotel room. Very large room, king size bed and wood floors. Very comfortable.
Very disappointed in the restaurant/bar. Meal and service was not up to expected standard for prices being charged. Had to ask 3 times for a glass of water. Our starters were not quite what we ordered, our main courses did not have the correct potatoes as we ordered. My husband's main course was lukewarm and we had to send it back to the kitchen- we did not recieve an apology for this and the waitress seemed less than happy with us when she returned his main course. Nobody asked us if we'd like to order a dessert or coffee and after half hour my husband went up to the bar to order! All in all, not a great experience and we probably wouldn't bother eating here again.

Great vibe and friendly staff!
We had such a chill 1-night stay! The place is super cozy and the staff are all really nice. Met a bartender named Bailey who was great! Only thing was the food served on wood squares, plates would be way better. The breakfast was tasty and worth it, tho!

The location was lovely, a bit awkward to find at first as we thought it was in Masham itself.
The food was expensive, and we were never asked if everything was alright. We had 2 meals in the restaurant, the first night -veg was awful, scampy soggy, (bread with the scallops would have been an idea as the sauce was so runny- however we couldn't find a waitress to ask!) the second night we were too late to go elsewhere, this meal again was not very good. Other diners were complaining so we left! The breakfast was an extra which we didn't realise at time of booking.
